  7. Once the cakes are done, allow to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then turn on to a wire cooling rack and allow to cool completely. If desired, once the cake is cool, cut each layer in half to get 4 smaller layers
  8. For the buttercream, using an electric mixer, beat together the butter and cream cheese on medium speed until light and fluffy. And the Nutella and beat until well combined
  9. With the mixer on low-speed, sift and add the powdered sugar gradually (about 1/4 cup at a time), mixing until incorporated after each addition. Then, increase speed to medium-high and beat until smooth
  10. Fit a piping bag with a large round tip and fill with some of the frosting
  11. Decorate with chocolate finger all around the cake and M&Ms on top
