The ingredients needed to make Wheat flour dosa:
- Make ready 1 cup wheat flour
- Get 1/4 cup Semolina
- Prepare 1/2 cup curd
- Prepare 1 tsp salt
- Take 1/4 tsp eno soda
- Get As needed Oil for dosa
Normally for dosa, we need to soak rice, urid dal for many hours and grind it and then ferment it. But Wheat flour dosa is very simple and can be made with ready made flours without much effort. It is a healthy dish too as we are using wheat flour. In South India, these dosa are also called as Godhuma Dosa or Godumai Dosai.
Instructions to make Wheat flour dosa:
- Combine semolina salt with flour and curd then add little by little water and make a smooth batter. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
- Now add soda and makes gently better than hot dosa tawa now spread dosa batter evenly. Spread oil and cook until become light brown.
- Flip dosa and cook another 30 minutes then fold and serve with coconut chutney and sambar.
- This dosa is very healthy and make instantly.
It is a healthy dish too as we are using wheat flour. In South India, these dosa are also called as Godhuma Dosa or Godumai Dosai. In the North they are referred as Atta Dosa. Take wheat flour, rice flour, sour buttermilk, green chilli and salt in a large bowl. There should not be any flour lumps in the batter and it should not be thick.
